Agabhumi the Best of Bali opened with its flagship store in 2002 in Stamford, CT. Owners Michael and Regina Kirshbaum have traveled the world for decades, drawing in personal and professional inspiration from the many sights and people they've encountered on their journeys. The duo chose the name "Agabhumi" as it means "ancient firmament" and represents a reflection of strength and creativity of the artisans they work with. They travel to Bali to hand select designs and products from an array of craftspeople, often collaborating on the trends Regina and Michael forecast. Unique jewelry, handbags, apparel, shoes and gifts are chosen to help expose the breadth of the collective talents of the designers in the exotic island of Bali, Indonesia, while remaining of the forefront of the fashion curve. Agabhumi now has 4 store locations across Connecticut, Barbados and California as well as a successful online store and presence.
